Privacy Policy

Effective August 20, 2026

EventWell provides lead management, quoting, scheduling, and communications software to independent catering businesses. This policy explains how EventWell handles information when businesses use our platform and when their prospective or existing clients communicate through it.

Information we collect

We process account and business details, event and inquiry details, contact information, message content, consent records, delivery records, and payment or subscription references. Payment card information is collected and processed by our payment provider, not stored by EventWell.

How we use information

  • Provide, secure, support, and improve the EventWell service.
  • Deliver requested quotes, event updates, reminders, and customer-care communications.
  • Record messaging consent and honor opt-out requests.
  • Prevent fraud, diagnose failures, and meet legal and carrier requirements.

Mobile information is not sold. We do not share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Service providers and business customers

We disclose information only as needed to operate the service—for example to hosting, communications, payment, email, security, and support providers—or as required by law. The catering business you contact controls its relationship and communications with you and may have an additional privacy policy.

Connected Google account data

An EventWell business owner may choose to connect a Google account and select a specific Google Ads advertiser and Google Analytics 4 property. EventWell then retrieves aggregate reporting data such as advertiser and campaign identifiers and names, currency and time-zone settings, spend, impressions, clicks, conversions and conversion value, property names, website sessions, active users, engaged sessions, and key events. EventWell requests the Google Ads scope and the read-only Google Analytics scope solely to list the owner's available resources and import the reporting data the owner selects. Although Google describes the Ads scope broadly, EventWell does not create or modify ads, campaigns, audiences, Analytics properties, or Google account settings.

Google access and refresh tokens are kept server-side, encrypted before storage, and cryptographically bound to the EventWell customer account that authorized them. Connected Google data is used only to provide the reporting feature and its scheduled refreshes. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or disclose it except to service providers needed to operate the feature, when directed by the customer, or when required by law. Owners can disconnect Google from Settings at any time; EventWell then attempts to revoke the Google authorization and deletes the connection, tokens, and imported Google reporting data. Owners can also revoke access from their Google Account permissions. EventWell's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Connected Meta account data

An EventWell business owner may choose to connect a Facebook Page they administer for Facebook and Instagram lead ads. EventWell lists only Pages returned by that owner's authorization, reads the selected Page's identity and lead-form details, subscribes the selected Page to new-lead notifications, and retrieves the contact, event, form, campaign, ad-set, and ad details submitted with those leads. EventWell does not post to the Page or create, edit, or purchase ads.

Page access tokens are kept server-side, encrypted before storage, and bound to the EventWell customer account that authorized the Page. They are used only to receive and retrieve that customer's lead-ad enquiries. Owners can disconnect Meta from Settings at any time; EventWell then attempts to remove the Page webhook, disables lead routing, and erases the stored Page token and connection evidence. Owners can also remove EventWell from Facebook's Business Integrations settings.

Retention and security

We retain records for the period needed to provide the service, document consent and opt-outs, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use access controls, encryption in transit, and restricted, application-level encryption for sensitive carrier-registration data. No system is perfectly secure.

Your choices

You may reply STOP to stop SMS messages or HELP for help. You may also ask the catering business you contacted to access, correct, or delete applicable information. EventWell account customers may contact us through their dashboard for privacy requests.
